2018-19 Strive Academic Assessment

Academic development is measured with an assessment correlated to specific California standards, and administered quarterly.
The following data reflect the progress our students made between September 2018 and May 2019.

  • There was a 69% decrease in students who scored 59% or below (Far Below Proficient ‘F’

  • There was a 17% increase in students who scored 69% or below (Below Proficient ‘D’

  • There was a 10% increase in students considered at grade level (Meets Grade Level Proficiency ‘C’

  • 18% of the students at Strive are considered at grade level 

  • There was a 29% increase of students considered to be proficient (Proficient ‘B’

  • There was an 8% increase of students considered to be advanced (Advanced Proficient ‘A’

  • There has been an overall 37.81% increase of students scoring higher on their tests
