A Day in the Life of... 2011.

Upon arrival at Strive, students having just come from a day at school eat a healthy snack, then play a variety of physically and mentally stimulating games in our courtyard and classrooms.

We then assemble and work briefly on recurring themes of the program such as personal introductions and speaking loudly and clearly in front of a group.  Assembly is dismissed and students go to their assigned classrooms where they have quiet study time, homework assistance, and tutoring.  We finish each day with the intervention component of the program.  Our assessment tests allow us to identify and address the specific academic deficits our students possess and, with an average student to teacher ratio of 10:1, we are able to offer each child the help they need.
